Becoming a member

Membership allows, you, our local community to have ownership and involvement in your local NHS.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust has around 12,000 public members and approximately 6,000 staff members and is always keen to recruit more. Becoming a member is free and is open to anyone ages 14 or over. You can get involved as much or as little as you wish.

Reasons to join:

  • Receive a regular updates on the Trust, as well as invitations to special events taking place at Torbay Hospital and in the local community

  • Make sure your views on health and adult social care services are heard

  • Vote for your representative on the Council of Governors
