Stop smoking

Stopping smoking completely is the single best thing you can do to improve your health and wealth and there is a lot of support to help you be successful. Many people take more than one attempt before they finally quit for good so the most important thing is that you keep trying. If you need further support you can always contact the Healthy Lifestyles Team or book a Healthy Lifestyles assessment.

If you are struggling to stop completely then it is important that you try to limit the harm from tobacco to yourself and others. One popular way is to swap or reduce your smoking by using e-cigarettes or vaping products. Although these products are unlicensed and there are still some concerns around their use, we know that they are at least 95% safer than continuing to smoke tobacco.
