The Strength Trial – The trial procedures

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about this study and we hope you will want to support this important work by becoming a participant. This video on this page explains how people are selected for the trial, and what is involved if you take part.

We really hope that you can help us to find out whether this drug can help lots of people like you.

In order to join a clinical trial you need to give written permission to the Clinical Trial Team to enrol you in their study. This is called “giving consent”.

In order to give your consent, you need to understand a number of things so you can make an informed decision. Our “Agreeing to be a participant in our clinical trial” video will explain what you need to know before you give consent.

We are testing the use of video to support our volunteers and would be really grateful if you could take a few minutes to provide us with some feedback.
