We have open visiting hours, however meal times are restricted.

General information

There is a Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) and X-ray facilities (see opening times).

X-ray facilities times may vary, so it is advisable to check with the hospital’s Main Reception. X-ray services may not be available everyday however if attending MIU, you will be assessed fully by the MIU Nurse practitioner and provided with an appropriate treatment plan to meet your clinical needs.

Travelling by car

On-site parking arrangements: The site operates a pay and display car park for visitors and permits for staff.

Travelling by bus

The buses in Totnes all stop opposite the Royal Seven Stars Hotel at the bottom of the town, which is roughly a 5 minutes’ walk to the hospital.

From Plymouth, Paignton or Torquay you need to catch Stagecoach Gold. See Stagecoach timetable.

From Exeter, Newton Abbot, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe catch the number X64. See Stagecoach timetable.

Travelling by rail

Totnes Railway station is only 0.2 miles away from the hospital. If you are walking leave the station, turn left at the main road junction and take 4th exit off the roundabout by Morrison’s petrol station, the hospital is the first turning on the left.
