Monica Bulman on BBC One’s ‘Holding Back the Years’

Did you catch our famous nurse Monica on BBC One this week?

Angela Rippon joins 83 year old nurse Monica Bulman at Torbay Hospital for the show ‘Holding Back the Years’.

Monica, a Registered General Nurse (RGN), works on Hutchings ward at Torbay Hospital as part of the specialist outpatient surgical clinic team for Endoscopy. She is one of the oldest nurses in Britain.

Monica started work in the NHS in 1952 as a State Enrolled Nurse and has no plans to retire, still working 15-20 hours each week.
