Turner Ward at Torbay Hospital had a special delivery yesterday with a visit from ‘Natasha’s Army’. Three of Natasha’s children, Natasha’s partner, Dean, as well as a few other members from ‘Natasha’s Army’ visited the ward to donate over 100 ‘care bags’ for patients on the ward.

Janine Cars, Natasha’s best friend, said: “Natasha, sadly on the 28th December after a long fight against cervical cancer, passed away leaving behind four beautiful children – she was only 31.

“This year for her birthday because we couldn’t give her a present we set up appeal for items for care bags for Turner ward at Torbay Hospital. The care bags all contain items that we took into Natasha when she was having treatment like fluffy socks, Lip sole, fizzy drinks, magazines and boiled sweets. Yesterday we took down over 100 bags to Turner ward.”

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind donation – we know that this will mean so much to our patients on Turner Ward.
