COVID-19 swabbing of asymptomatic maternity inpatient admissions

Here at Torbay Hospital we are committed to providing safe and effective care to the women and babies who are booked with us.

As you may have noticed, we have made lots of changes to protect you and staff from COVID-19.

In line with current UK guidance from Public Health England, we are now providing COVID-19 swabs to all women who are admitted to our maternity unit. This will allow us to care for you and your baby appropriately.
