There are many groups running locally in person, and virtually online.
Many people who have problems with alcohol or drug dependency find it useful to attend self-help groups, as do their family, carers and friends.

If your loved ones are affected by your drug use, they may seek advice and support via our friends and family support service. This can be accessed via face to face, telephone and group appointments.
A friends & family support worker is available to anyone who is affected by someone else’s use of drugs or alcohol. They are able to offer 1:1 appointments, support and advice, telephone advice and support groups.
Please contact the Family & Friends support worker on 07827 354112.
If you support someone with a substance misuse issue there is support for your needs. A Carer Support Worker is based at Shrublands and runs regular peer support groups.
