Health Connect Coaching Programme FAQs
Health Connect Coaching Programme frequently asked questions and their answers.
I don’t have access to a suitable device or internet for video calls, can I still access the service?
Yes – Some of our coaches are happy to offer telephone sessions or meet in the community. Please include your preference when completing the referral form or speaking with one of the coordinators.
What happens if I am too unwell to attend a session with my coach?
We kindly ask that you email to let your volunteer coach and HCC coordinator know as soon as you know you will be unable to make a session. Your missed session can be rescheduled but there may be some restrictions on how many sessions can be rescheduled during your engagement.
What happens once I finish the programme?
If you would still like to receive some support we can signpost you to the HOPE Programme – a 6 week group based course to support you to manage your health and wellbeing.
What happens if my coach doesn’t turn up to an MS Teams session?
This is very rare however if your coach was to not turn up to your MS teams session then we advise you wait, in case there are any IT hold ups causing delay, but if they still have not arrived after 10 minutes into your session without any communication from them as to their delay then we advise you leave the call and contact the HCC team to inform them who will chase it up with your coach.
