Physical activity

Physical activity is one of the three specialist elements that you will take part in and learn about during the programme. We understand how difficult it can be to stay active and how it is different for everyone. There are lots of reasons why people find it hard to stay active, many of our service users have pain and health conditions and we have supported them to work through their barriers to increase their activity levels.

During the programme you can take part in activity sessions every week under the guidance of a Physical Activity Specialist. You will be able to work at your own level and will be encouraged to increase the amount of time you exercise before we ask you to start increase intensity. We can adapt exercises for all abilities and fitness levels, some of our classes are chair-based. If you are in an online programme you will receive support calls from the team throughout and will be encouraged to be active at home or out in the community.
