- Fax the request form to the department and ask the patient to ring the Direct Bookings telephone line on 01803 656326 to arrange a convenient time and date for their appointment (9am to 4:30pm).
- The referring GP or consultant will telephone the department and organise an urgent appointment slot, giving the patient the radiology request form to present at arrival in Radiology.
Cancelling an appointment
To reduce the amount of appointment slots wasted each year, it is important that patients who are unable to attend, or do not wish to proceed with their examination, inform the department as soon as possible.
