This is monitored 24hrs a day 7 days a week by our own response centre operators.

Alternatively, you may choose to have self monitoring equipment from our stand alone selection, so that you can care for the individual in their own home.

Torbay TeleHealthCare was established in 1999 and currently provides reassurance to over 2,000 people in their own homes. Originally part of the Council’s Housing and Social Services Department, Torbay TeleHealthCare is currently assisting thousands of people to live independently within their community, both in their own home or a residential setting; with the security of knowing they can summon assistance in an emergency 24 hours a day.

This local service has built itself into an excellent and professional around the clock service, providing a variety of TeleHealthCare solutions for vulnerable people and their carers, family, friends and health care professionals. Our service uses the latest in telecare technology available today ranging from home telecare packages to personal/medical telecare packages, including self monitoring equipment.
