Our inclusion plan

Equality Delivery System 2

We are finalising our Equality Delivery System (EDS) 2023 report. The following actions have already been identified to improve equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) outcomes, and we are in the process of implementing them:

  • A mandatory inclusion module was launched in January 2024 and the trust has set a target that all staff must have completed by July 2024 and as of now 4765 staff have completed the module.
  • We have co-created a compassionate and inclusive leadership framework (based on three key elements: “We Include, We Listen and We Act”), aligned to the Devon Integrated Care System leadership framework, and are currently delivering development sessions across our organisation. We have delivered 36 sessions so far and more than 450 staff have attended the framework.
  • A long term robust CQC action plan has been developed that incorporates our High Impact Action plan; this is being reviewed regularly to ensure we are on track to delivering.

We are continuing to strengthen our internal capacity to fully meet all of our requirements relating to equality, diversity and inclusion.
