What to do in an emergency

Please note, we do not provide emergency or out of hours services. Please use the below phone numbers if a child or young person, or yourself, require support with the following:

Mental health crisis: If you or your child is in a mental health crisis and need to talk to a mental health professional call 111 and select the mental health option.

Urgent medical support: Contact your GP, specialist medical team or call 111.

Medical or mental health emergencies: Call 999 or go to the Emergency Department (A&E). Mental health emergencies include if you or your child’s actions are endangering themselves or others.

Child or young person welfare concerns

If you’re concerned about a young person’s welfare or suspect abuse, you can make a referral to your local Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
