Torbay Hospital League of Friends

The Torbay Hospital League of Friends was set up in 1954 to provide amenities and services for patients and staff at Torbay Hospital. Over the years it has become one of the leading Leagues in the country, providing gifts amounting to over £22 million.

The League of Friends newsletter is available throughout the hospital. You can also visit the Torbay Hospital League of Friends website for details about:

  • Fundraising events
  • Memberships: many people feel motivated to support the League of Friends by paying an annual subscription.
  • Legacies and donations: these are the lifeblood of charities, and Torbay Hospital League of Friends is no exception.
  • Volunteers: the League provides volunteers for the Linen League, sewing items that cannot be sourced elsewhere.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please call June or Pat on 01803 654520.
