A generous legacy gift to Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity is funding improvements to create a calmer environment for Heart and Lung patients.

The newly refurbished pacemaker room in the Heart and Lung Department at Torbay Hospital, featuring wall-to-wall floral mural artwork titled "Through the Meadow" by local printmaker Niamh Geraghty Morris. The artwork displays tall green grasses, pink thistle-like flowers, and white daisies across the upper walls. Below the mural sits a blue patient chair, medical equipment, a computer monitor, and an informational panel about the Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity legacy gift from Mr Kenneth Zaple.
