Building a brighter future, together
We are proud to be the first NHS trust in England to have integrated hospital and community care with social care. We are here to support the people of Torbay and South Devon to live well.
As a well-established integrated care organisation of more than five years’ standing, we know first hand the positive impact working together in partnership with others has for our local population. This has never been more important than at the present time when we have a genuine opportunity to really address the health inequalities facing our people.
We’ve been given a share of £3.7billion government funding through the New Hospitals Programme (formerly known as HIP2) for Torbay Hospital in Torquay, which provides acute services to people in Torbay and South Devon. The initial ‘seed’ funding is enabling us to develop plans for a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a real difference to how we deliver services with, to, and for our people.
