People needing urgent care in Torbay and South Devon are being asked to book a same-day appointment directly with Newton Abbot Urgent Treatment Centre.
To book an appointment, call 01626 324631.
Appointments can only be made for the same day.
People can still walk into Newton Abbot Urgent Treatment Centre without an appointment. However, you will be asked to follow the same procedure, for example calling for an appointment, unless you are assessed to be an emergency.
Appointments will be prioritised. People who choose to walk in will have to wait longer to be seen, particularly during busy periods, unless they are an emergency patient.

The Minor Injuries Unit at Totnes Community Hospital operates an appointment-priority service.
Bookings will only be taken for the same day. To book an appointment, call 01803 862622 and select option 1.
The unit supports walk-in visitors, but appointments will be prioritised. If the service is at capacity, walk-in visitors may be redirected or called back at an alternative time.
