Carers Rights Day

Carers Rights Day is the opportunity for us to remind unpaid carers of their rights:
- To an assessment of their needs as a carer.
- To engage in work, education, training or volunteering (if they want) – there is a lot of support for carers who wish to work and for the person that they care for:
Carers Rights Day 2023
Saturday 18th November 2023 at Paignton Library, 10am – 2pm. Official opening speech at 10.30am.
There is a wide range of advice and support for carers, the people that they care for and the wider public, plus the Library’s Christmas Fayre.
If you have a Carers’ Card, visit the Torbay Carer information stand to obtain a free coffee / tea and cake.
Come upstairs and join us at 10.30am for the official opening in Room 10, 11 and 12. Opening by Hayley Tranter, Councillor with responsibility for adult social care.
