We provide an integrated consultancy service covering all aspects of the design, planning, engineering, procurement, safety, management and maintenance of the built environment. As a sustainability and building services engineering consultancy, we have played a role in the development of Torbay Hospital’s facilities, but our commitment to the area and the people who use it extends far beyond our technical expertise. Through our social value initiatives, we support the people of Torbay, enhancing wellbeing, education, and sustainability across the community.

Wandsworth

Wandsworth Healthcare has been the leading supplier of nurse call systems in the UK for 70 years, having established a legacy of innovation, designing and manufacturing advanced healthcare solutions.

Wandsworth Healthcare has supported Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trsut with over 70 nurse call placement schemes, ranging from small departments to the larger areas, including the new Day Surgery, Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU), and Women’s Health Unit. We were thrilled to have been involved in the new Community Diagnostic Centre which opened in September 2024. Our fully IP-to-the-bed IPiN nurse call system was chosen for the new facility, which aims to speed up treatment, reduce waiting lists and give people access to tests in the town centre rather than visiting Torbay Hospital, allowing teams there to focus on more complex and urgent care, and reducing the chance of appointments being postponed at times of high demand.
