Innovators from across the UK came together as part of the InSites Workshop held at Torbay Hospital recently.

The event included displays of innovative technologies, keynote speakers, showcase sessions and networking opportunities featuring some of the most exciting developers and creators in Health, as well featuring some exciting innovations from our own digital team.

The event was hosted by Nick Peres who is our Programme Director for Digital Innovation & Transformation, and Ann Butts our InSites Programme Manager.

In attendance was Jana Schulte who is the CEP Portfolio Director, Alex Ganzerla who is the Clinical Innovation Lead for NHS E&I; Professor Tony Young who is the National Clinical Director for Innovation NHS England, and Dr Neil Ralph, Programme Lead for Technology Enhanced Learning Programme, Health Education England, who formed part of the Q&A panel and were the keynote speakers throughout the day.

Ann Butts said: “We are so proud to have hosted the InSites workshop here in Torbay. We are one of the 18 national sites chosen to pilot the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) as part of the InSites programme which is focussed on creating, testing and implementing innovations across healthcare.

“The goal of the InSites Team is to introduce these innovations into Health across all levels and was a great chance for anyone who is professionally curious in this area to network and to learn; it was a brilliant day.”
